This is a fable. The body of the beloved Evita Perón, the woman of the people, is returned to her family after years of desecration. It is 1973 in Buenos Aires. Isabel is 30 years old. She is set to accede to the presidency of her country. However, she feels that something is missing. She is discouraged from taking office due to her lack of charisma and political conviction. Isabel and José (35), the former secretary of Perón and a powerful figure at the time, decide to perform a ritual in which Eva Perón's soul would migrate to Isabel's body. The changes are physical and the transplant seems to work. But soon it becomes clear that the changes were only in her mind’s fantasy. In reality, not only did she not manage to integrate the soul of the most important woman in Argentine history but that also ended up playing against her. Isabel realizes that she will never be Eva and she relies more and more on the military until, finally, she hands over the state to them. Eva's soul is in her body, the body it never left.
